This is my group coil it is 6 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide, it is blue and clear on the outside and shadow green on the inside. I glazed it by dipping it in clear, filling the inside with shadow green, then dipping the upper rim blue. While making this I didn't really learn anything new but I got to teach 2 new students how to slip and score as did I teach them how to make a coil. This coil pot shows value and balance by all the differing assorted colors. This project is important because it is a group coil for kailees mom. Special credits to max and kailee for helping me make this coil project.
This is my tall project it is taller than it is wide, clear, black and blue on the inside I glazed it by dipping the outside in clear, dumping blue into the vase and then once the clear dried dipping the outer rim in black and allowing one end to drip to show line and movement by how the vase looks like the rim is slowly dripping off. this vase is important because my family has been nagging me to make a bowl for them so I finally get to take my bowl out of the display and satisfy my ceramic addicted mom.
This is my bowl project it is 3 1/2 by 5 inches, it is clear with a shadow green side and blue drips. i glazed it by dipping it clear then dipping the side green and adding blue. this shows line and balance by how the blue lines seem to be weighing down the green side. this project is important because its the first bowl of the semester and is already bigger in size than the other bowls i have previously made.
